Our Congregation in Panevėžys has been a place there the words from our Lord is very important and that the Lord loves everyone. He has the power to save and give grace and calmness to all people.

We have been serving the love from the Lord every Sunday during the year 2008. We have had many small children and their families visiting us and they have taken part in different camps and activities.

We have been visiting the women’s prison and have had concerts and testimonies for the beautiful women in the prison.

We have a very good contact with the Family house there women and children can live for shorter or longer time because of violence. The mothers and children comes to worship services and also take part in camps. They see the members in the congregation as lovely friends and dare to talk about their problems and so on.

The children are together in worship service and some moments they have some tasks to do in the other small room. They are singing in the worship service and taking part in Holy Communion. If you see their eyes when they take the bread you can see how serious they are. It is so good to have them together with the adults and share the real love from Lord.

Six members Daiva, Egidijus, Agne, Ausrine. Regina, Monika and me were visiting our partner church in Lancaster, Ohio. We were invited for some weeks to take part in the congregations work there and we had song and music for them. We had very good days together and we got so much of their time and love.

Some friends from Sweden have been visiting our congregation and have been sharing our worship services.

The Sunday before Christmas we had a wonderful Christmas party with a lot of Christmas songs and Bibleword and Christmas gifts. In our small. Small space we were 41 children and adults. God is great and mercy.

I am very happy for my congregation and that they want to work for the Lord and they are not afraid to talk about the love and life together with Jesus Christ.

We have two lay speakers and they are really working a lot and we will have two more – wonderful.

I am thankful to everyone who help us to have worship services when I am not in Panevėžys – thanks Regina from Biržai and Kingsley.

For the future we want to have a new space so we can have more groups and more work for children and youth – but we need a better economy. But we can dream, have visions and pray that our Lord bless and talk to people to send want we need.
