Summer Camps

Greetings in the Name of Jesus:

 We are writing to you to say wonderful news, that this summer we hold two LUMC camps! Our camps theme was “Fruits of the Spirit” (Gal 5:22-23). We were focused on children understanding that we are responsible for the life which God gave to us and that the greatest gift is our fruits of the spirit. Jesus brings us freedom from sin. After we are forgiven by God, the things of the Spirit can grow in our life.

One camp was for the kids ages 7 – 12. We held that camp in Lithuania, in Marijampole near the nice lake Jurgezeriai in 18 - 20th of June. There were 104 participants. And the second camp we held from 4 - 8th of August for the youth – ages 13-18 in Latvia in “Camp Wesley” near the sea. There were 78 campers. In both camps we had good team of volunteers who helped to look after kids and youth. We call them shepherds. And also in both camps we had some pastors and volunteers leaders to lead the stations for the youth and kids.

 

As most of you know District camps we have only every second year and this year was very special for our Church because we had opportunity to organize District camps because of your support. God is good all the time! We see God’s blessings in your gift that you have sent. A special thanks too many individuals, partner churches that contributed funds to make our Summer Camps possible. We have been blessed by your generous gifts. We are writing to you to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your gift that you are and for the gift’s you have send to us.
