Bread Program

One of the new programs started recently is a Bread Program operating in the village of Pilviskiai. There are many people living in this small community with very limited means of support. Through the Bread Program we provide weekly bread along with food vouchers for the purchase of the other items. We buy the bread (dated) at extreme discount and then distribute it to those in need.  We are doing this program in conjunction with a home healthcare program and visitation program so that many of these persons also receive regular visits from a homecare visitor and once a month a visit from Dr. Danute.
